Looks like whatever bad blood that has been brewing between podcasters Alex Cooper and Alix Earle may finally be coming to the surface. On Monday, Cooper posted a TikTok challenging Earle to come out and answer the one question that everyone’s been asking: “What’s the beef?” Addressing Earle by name, the Call Her Daddy host said that rather than continuing with the “passive-aggressive” reposts, likes, and comments, “You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you need to say about me,” and added that there is no NDA. Cooper also accused Earle of fabricating “fake drama” as a distraction. “I know what happened and so do you. So talk,” she said. “Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth.” In the comments, Earle succinctly responded, “Okay on it!!”
The inciting incident for Cooper’s video appears to be one of Earle’s shadier TikTok reposts. In the video Earle reposted, the creator accused Cooper of being an “ambulance chaser” who exploits other women’s pain for her own profit. While this was the most recent upset, the podcasters have been trading veiled online barbs for months. The rift seems to have begun when Earle and her Hot Mess podcast left Cooper’s podcast network, Unwell, in 2025, just two years after Earle signed with the network. At the time of the split, evidence of a feud was still relatively thin. Fans noticed Earle skipped an Unwell-sponsored Super Bowl party in favor of hanging out with her boyfriend. Now, however, those rumors look downright prescient.
