Meghan Markle pairs $26K Cartier watch with Dior shoes in Australia

Meghan Markle wore expensive, over-the-top jewelry worth over $33,000 while helping feed the homeless in Melbourne, Australia.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, rocked a $26,200 Cartier Tank Française watch, a $6,630 yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet and Real Fine Studio’s gold Puffy Hearts earrings worth $780 for a solo visit to McAuley Community Services for Women on Tuesday.

Markle, 44, also wore an apron over a $892 navy sleeveless Karen Gee Priscilla dress with gold double-breasted buttons as she served lunch to residents of the family violence and homeless shelter.

Markle’s expensive watch is believed to have been passed from Princess Diana to Prince William and then traded to Prince Harry in exchange for the late princess’ sapphire engagement ring. Markle has worn the heirloom timepiece regularly since 2020.

The “Suits” alum kicked off her four-day tour of Australia on Tuesday, arriving alongside Prince Harry for their first joint visit since their 2018 royal trip.

Before her solo trip to the homeless shelter, Markle and her husband stopped by Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital, which Diana previously visited on her royal tour of Australia in 1983.

For the day’s final engagement at the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum (ANVAM) in Southbank, Markle went for a thematic olive-and-khaki palette: a St. Agni suede bomber ($1,000) and matching suede skirt ($890) layered over a taupe P.Johnson Annie top ($220).

She accessorized with nude Aquazzura Purist Pump 105 heels ($650) and Real Fine Studio diamond Signature Studs (from $990). The Cartier wrist stack stayed put.

Between Karen Gee, St. Agni, P.Johnson and Real Fine Studio Markle championed four Australian designers across two day-one looks — a strategy she’s employed on past trips abroad, spotlighting local fashion talent wherever she lands.

Searches for Gee skyrocketed over 5,800 percent after Markle wore the brand’s “Blessed” dress on the 2018 trip shortly after announcing her pregnancy.

The tour continues through Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney, with engagements focused on mental health, veterans’ support and community resilience.
