RALEIGH, N.C. – The 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs kick off this weekend, and the Carolina Hurricanes now know their first-round foe.
With the top seed in the Eastern Conference locked down, the Canes will take on the second Wild Card slot, claimed by the Ottawa Senators. Carolina went 2-1-0 against the Senators this season, scoring three or more goals in each contest.
This will be the first-ever playoff meeting between the Hurricanes and Senators.
