In Sudan, many left wondering, ‘Why don’t we matter?’: UN humanitarian co-ordinator

The civil war in Sudan is entering its fourth year, and the UN says 64 per cent of the population there needs food, shelter and sanitation. Denise Brown, the UN’s resident and humanitarian co-ordinator in the country, says the international community doesn’t seem to be paying much attention to the crisis.
