“The Floor,” a trivia game show hosted by actor Rob Lowe, is preparing to air Episode Three of its fifth season, following a two-hour, two-episode season opener last week.
The show features 100 competitors each week spread across a floor split into 100 squares. The goal is to compete until you win all of the territory on the floor and take home the $250,000 prize.
The third episode is called “A Ringleader Rises.” This season, the show has added a new twist called the Territory Freeze. Whichever contestant wins the most duels by mid-season earns the freeze. “That means, halfway through the season, whoever has the most territory is safe,” Lowe said in a YouTube video introducing the new season. “No one can go after them.”
