Brianna Chickenfry Enters the Alex Cooper–Alix Earle Drama

Alex Cooper and Alix Earle are still fighting, and guess what? A third podcaster has now entered the ring. A few days after posting a TikTok accusing Earle of making up “fake drama,” Cooper is now pointing a finger at Brianna LaPaglia (more famously also known as Brianna Chickenfry). Cooper claims LaPaglia has been insulting her in various comments sections, and because Cooper is in a stand-up-and-say-it-to-my-face kind of mood right now, she fired right back on her Instagram Stories.
Alex Cooper takes to Instagram Stories to address Brianna LaPaglia and Alix Earle.
“So speaking of mean girls… I have never met you in my life. What I just showed is the only interaction we’ve ever had. And you hate me? Wow.” pic.twitter.com/uihTfOeG1D

“While Alix tries to get her story together,” Cooper’s screed began, “Let me address Brianna Chickenfry who is adding onto the fake narrative and dogpile.” LaPaglia, Cooper claims, has been calling Cooper a “mean girl” in various comments sections even though they’ve never even met, and their only interactions have been through DM. “Here are our DMs,” Cooper wrote, and followed that up with screenshots purporting to show her messages with LaPaglia. Most of the messages appear to be light and friendly, though some revolve around Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports telling LaPaglia that Cooper hates her, which the women cleared up quickly. (LaPaglia and Cooper share a friend and business associate in Portnoy, who owns Barstool Sports. Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast used to be owned by Barstool while LaPaglia is still part of the Barstool network.) Cooper wrapped up her Instagram messages by reiterating that nothing negative has ever happened between herself and LaPaglia and that she’s never spoken ill of her behind her back.
It didn’t take long for LaPaglia to respond in her own Instagram Stories. “I was a fan of Alex Cooper before I knew the wrath of Alex Cooper and what she does to people and how she treats people,” LaPaglia said in a video. “I am friends with Alix Earle,” she added, saying Earle told her everything that happened between the Al(e/i)xes. LaPaglia did levy one specific accusation — that Cooper once told Portnoy she “doesn’t give a fuck” about LaPaglia or Grace O’Malley (a fourth podcaster involved in this imbroglio, who used to co-host with LaPaglia), and she cares only about making money.
Not that anyone asked, but it seems to me like the biggest problem standing between Cooper and LaPaglia is Dave Portnoy. What if everyone just went back to the podcast studio and ignored everything that comes out of Dave Portnoy’s mouth? I think that would solve a lot.
