Disney has offered a first look at Hexed, its new original animated feature from directors Josie Trinidad and Jason Hand.
Slated for release on November 25, Hexed follows a teenager and her Type-A mom a they discover that what makes her unusual might just be magical powers that will turn their lives and a secret world of magic, upside down.
The studio announced that Hailee Steinfeld plays the teenage lead, Billie Doe, with Rashida Jones voicing her mother. In footage unveiled today in Las Vegas, as part of Disney’s CinemaCon presentation, we saw Billie getting a personality test / interrogation by a book and quill, speaking in British accents, who invite her into a a world of magic and wonder.
Roy Conli and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones are producing Hexed, with Jared Bush exec producing.
