Anne Hathaway reveals ‘diva’ of ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ cast — and her answer might surprise you

Stanley Tucci? A diva? Groundbreaking.

Anne Hathaway is dishing on who the biggest “diva” of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” cast is — and why it’s Stanley Tucci.

“He’s so fussy about his clothes,” the actress joked to Stephen Colbert on Wednesday’s episode of “The Late Show.”

Colbert then asked the Oscar winner if Tucci — a famous foodie who has hosted several docuseries and released numerous food-focused books — had ever cooked for her.

Hathaway, pictured here with Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci in “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” named Tucci as the culprit, noting that he’s “so fussy about his clothes.” Macall Polay/20th Century Studios.

“That bitch has not made me a morsel,” she replied, noting that she has “dropped so many hints” over the years.

Hathaway said she has also tried the angle of asking Tucci questions about food in the hopes he’d make it for her, saying, “He’ll tell me, but I have not yet received a crumb. What am I doing wrong?”

Elsewhere during the chat, the “Rachel Getting Married” actress gushed about reuniting with Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Tucci for the long-awaited sequel, arriving a full two decades after the original.

“I just felt like I got to be in this, like, supergroup 20 years ago and we got back together to make another album,” she explained.

“And I love the album!” she added.

Hathaway also credited the fans for their support over the years, saying that their love for “The Devil Wears Prada” and its characters is “why we’re here” and “why we came back all these years later.”

“There’s this love and this yearning to see what these characters have been up to,” she said.

At the beginning of the interview, Colbert noted how Streep visited “The Late Show” recently and wore a cerulean blue cable-knit sweater — a callback to an iconic scene from the 2006 film.

The scene in question sees Streep’s fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestley completely eviscerate Hathaway’s Andy Sachs, one of Priestley’s assistants, over her fashion choices.

“She stole my sweater!” Hathaway — who has been dressing to impress during the ongoing press tour — said in reaction to Streep.

In addition to returning to the world of “The Devil Wears Prada,” Hathaway has a busy 2026.

Her film “Mother Mary” opens Friday, followed by “The Devil Wears Prada 2” on May 1, “The Odyssey” on July 17, “The End of Oak Street” on Aug. 14 and “Verity” on Oct. 2.
