Those wanting to give back to the community are invited to visit a fair taking place in the coming weeks.
The Fenland team from Volunteer Cambs, which is also part of the Support Fenland Project, are holding a volunteer fair in Chatteris at the King Edward Community Centre on Saturday, May 16, from 10am-1pm.
The fair is a free drop-in event, open to all. It aims to provide an opportunity for anyone interested in giving a little of their time to support their community and meet groups looking for extra help with their “fantastic work”.

A spokesperson from Volunteer Cambs says giving up some of your time can “help build confidence, learn new skills, meet new people and boost wellbeing”.
“Why not pop along to the fair, say hello and find out more about Volunteer Cambs – the one-stop website for volunteering in Cambridgeshire,” the spokesperson added.
