1 Enterprise actor won’t attend Star Trek’s 60th anniversary bash (according to co-star)

“I would be surprised if she attended.”

Trekkies will descend on Las Vegas this September to celebrate Star Trek’s 60th anniversary. However, even with all of the Trek celebrities scheduled to show up for the upcoming STLV: Trek to Vegas at the Rio Hotel & Casino one beloved Star Trek: Enterprise standout likely won’t be attending: Jolene Blalcok. Co-star John Billingsley, who played Dr. Phlox, shared his opinion while appearing on the All Access Star Trek Podcast. The actor said (per ScreenRant):

“I would be surprised if she attended [STLV]. I wouldn’t speak as to the reasons, but I think back in the day, she had some experiences at conventions that weren’t delightful. And she is married to a kajillionaire, so if you’re not going [for money], you’re going for delight. So, if she doesn’t take delight in public exposure anymore, then probably not.”

For those who aren’t familiar with 2001-2005’s Enterprise television series, Blalock played the intriguing Vulcan T’Pol, who was one of the show’s “big three” characters, which was an answer to the chemistry created by the terrific trio on The Original Series: Captain Kirk (William Shatner), Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy), and Dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelley).

Enterprise’s trifecta consisted of the aforementioned T’Pol — a fan favorite to this very day — Captain Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula), and “Trip” Tucker III (Connor Trinneer). Billingsley’s Dr. Phlox was also another standout member of the Enterprise NX-01’s crew, and the actor would love to reconnect with his long-lost castmate, Blalock. Billingsley said during the same sit-down:

“There’s obviously so much hunger to see Jolene again… I would love to see Jolene again. She’s disappeared from our lives. We miss her […] I honestly have been trying to get in touch with Jolene just as a pal, although I would have loved to have [on] for Trek Talks, for some years now, and I have not been able to track her down.”

I’d love to see Blalock show up for the big bash in Las Vegas, especially since 2026 also marks the 25th anniversary of Star Trek: Enterprise. And I’d also like to point out that the talented actress didn’t abandon Star Trek entirely.

Nearly 20 years after her last episode of Enterprise, Blalock reprised the role on the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks during the show’s fifth and final season in the episode “Fissure Quest.” She also walked the red carpet to commemorate Star Trek Day in 2021.

Would you like to see Jolene Blalock show up in Sin City to celebrate 60 years of Star Trek, too? Share your thoughts and comments with us on the matter via the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
