Free Savannah Earth Day Festival returns April 24 with vendors, live music and more

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Savannah’s largest environmental outreach event is returning to Daffin Park this month.
The City of Savannah Office of Sustainability, with support from Lite Foot Environmental Foundation, will host the 26th Annual Earth Day Festival on Friday, April 24, rain or shine.
This year’s theme, Local Action. Global Impact., focuses on how everyday choices and community collaboration can support broader environmental change.
Organizers say more than 60 vendors will be on site offering interactive exhibits, workshops, live music, face painting, clothing repair, bicycle repair, and other hands-on activities.
Families can also enjoy kid-friendly activities, food trucks, and opportunities to connect with nonprofits, businesses, and community groups focused on sustainability.
City leaders say the festival is one of Georgia’s leading Earth Day educational gatherings and offers residents practical ways to incorporate sustainable practices into daily life.
The event is free and open to the public. Volunteer opportunities are still available.
