Motorcyclist airlifted after collision with road grader in Olmsted County

NEW HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KTTC) – A motorcyclist from Rochester was airlifted to the hospital after a crash with a road grader in Olmsted County.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of County Road 3 NW and County Road 105 NW.
According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the road grader was likely preparing to make a turn when the man riding the motorcycle attempted to pass it.
The motorcyclist collided with the heavy construction machine, sending him into a nearby ditch with a leg fracture.
He was flown by Mayo One to the hospital for care. OCSO said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
