When will Jimmy Butler return from a torn ACL to Warriors?

The Golden State Warriors have not had Jimmy Butler on the court since he suffered a torn right ACL on January 19.

Butler, who played just 38 games this season before the injury, played a crucial role in the Warriors identity before he was sidelined. Despite his absence, Golden State still made the play-in tournament in the Western Conference. They won their first game, defeating the L.A. Clippers, and will face the Phoenix Suns for a chance to earn the No. 8 seed in the opening round against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He is listed as out on the injury report against the Suns after surgery on February 9. While he joked on Instagram that he is “doubtful” and not officially out, he is not expected to return during the postseason with a long recovery ahead.

Golden State is also without Moses Moody and Quinten Post while Kristaps Porziņģis is officially questionable.
