What you need to know if you’re going to the Luke Combs concert at Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Country music star Luke Combs will perform at Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday night with special guests Dierks Bentley, Ty Myers, Jake Worthington and Thelma & James.

Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning to attend the fifth concert inside the House that Rockne Built since 2018.

Important times

  • Parking lots open: 12 p.m.
  • Gates/Doors open: 5 p.m.
  • Concert start time (first act): 5:20 p.m.

Can I still get tickets?

As of early Friday afternoon, there were still tickets available on Ticketmaster.

What will the roads around campus be like?

Like previous concerts at Notre Dame Stadium, it will feel a lot like a Notre Dame home football game.

There will be an increased police presence to help maintain safety and to help maintain traffic flow on the roads surrounding campus.

Some roads will either be closed or only open one way, but there will be signage and officers directing traffic to help point you in the right direction.

If you aren’t going to the concert, it’s probably best to avoid campus on Saturday.

Where can I park?

Drive up parking will be available on concert day in the Burke, Blue, and Gold lots. Holy Cross and Saint Mary’s will also take drive-up parking.

As of early Friday afternoon, there is still some parking available through ParkMobile pre-reserved parking.

What if I don’t want to drive to the concert?

In addition to various rideshare services in the area, Transpo and the South Shore Line have you covered.

Transpo (Bus)

Transpo will be using its Game Day Express route that normally runs for home Notre Dame football games.

The pre-concert Game Day Express will run three hours prior to concert start time with the last departure one hour before (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) and for two hours following the concert.

The Game Day Express route is free for all riders. Free parking will also be available in the Century Center parking lot.

Other stops are located at the Aloft Hotel, the Century Center (across from Courtyard Marriott), DoubleTree Hotel (along Washington Street) and Notre Dame’s McKenna Hall.

South Shore Line (Train)

The South Shore Line is also providing rides to help accommodate travel to and from the concert. There will be an extra train departing from the South Bend International Airport station 90 minutes after the concert ends.

(South Shore Line)

The South Bend International Airport allows several rideshares and cab services.

Due to high demand, South Shore officials say availability may not be guaranteed, so you’re encouraged to make rideshare arrangements in advance.
