• Villade ground out to Lowe advances Caminero to third base. Diaz goes to first on the intentional walk. The rain has started to come down harder. Griffin starts the 6-4-3 double play to end the frame. 

Nick Gonzales, pinch-hitting for Davis, bounces into 6-3 double play to finish the 11th. Joey Bart will catch the 12th. 

RUN: Konnor Griffin’s RBI groundball to second base scores Nick Yorke from third base. Tied, 6-6.

• Caminero flies out to right to end the 11th. 

RUN: Taylor Walls scores from first base on an error by Yohan Ramirez attempting a pickoff. Rays, 6-5.

• Walls bunts the ball right to Ramirez, he tosses the ball to Davis for the tag-out at home plate. 

• Fortes groundout to Griffin allows Williamson to advance to third base.

• Ozuna and Yorke strikeout with the bases loaded. Rays somehow survive. 

• Intentional walk to Mangum to face Ozuna. 

• Intentional walk to Reynolds and Jake Mangum will pinch-hit for Cook. Kevin Kelly will come on to pitch for the Rays. 

• Lowe hits a fly ball to left field, Cruz tags and goes to third base. 

• Mattson goes 1-2-3 and the Pirates will have Cruz as the Manfred runner at second base.

• Rays call for Cole Sulser to pitch the ninth. 

• Soto strikes out Diaz on a nasty slider. Griffin will lead things off in the ninth. 

• Simpson attempts to bunt for a hit, Davis with a strong throw to first to get him. Caminero pops up to Horwitz in foul territory and Aranda walks after Soto called for ABS challenge and lost. Ryan Villade will pinch-run.

• Horwitz strikes out to end the eighth inning. Gregory Soto will get the ninth. 

RUN: Nick Yorke lines a single to right to score Brandon Lowe to tie the game at 5. 

• Ozuna strikes out swinging on a ball over the plate in the don’t throw it there zone. 

• O’Hearn battles for an infield single to Caminero, who was shaded far over to shortstop side. Billy Cook will pinch-run for O’Hearn. 

• Leadoff walk to Lowe. 

• Now pitching for the Rays is Bryan Baker. 

• Walls bounces into the 6-4-3 double play to finish the Rays’ eighth inning. 

• A quiet seventh as Pirates are retired in order.

• Lawrence comes through to get Mullins to foul out. 

• Aranda singles to center. Yohan Ramirez and Justin Lawrence were up earlier, Kelly calls for Lawrence. 

• Caminero hits a squibbler up the first base line, ruled runner interference for being in the first base line as Davis tried to get the ball. 

• Yorke flies out to center and Horwitz strikes out to end the sixth. 

• Ozuna is raking now. He lines a single up the middle off the pitcher, past the diving second baseman into centerfield. 

• The Rays not having any more challenges left hurts them on the outside curveball by Sisk called for strike three on Walls. Simpson pops up to Griffin to end the inning. 

• Cash has now replaced three position players since the game restarted. It is a curious move this early in the game but it pays off as Nick Fortes singles down the third base line.

• Lowe strikes out and Reynolds grounds out to the shortstop to end the fifth.

• Cruz missile off the top of the Clemente Wall for a double. 

• Englert gets Davis on soft liner to shortstop. Rays bringing in Ian Seymour after Englert faced just three batters. 

• Mullins is thrown out attempting to steal second base by Davis to end the inning. 

RUN: The hit parade continues for the Rays here in the fifth inning as Cedric Mullins lines a single to center to score Jonny DeLuca. Rays, 5-4.

• RUN: The right-handed hitting Jonny DeLuca pinch-hitting for Jake Fraley comes through with another two-out hit to the centerfield fence. Tied, 4-4.

Evan Sisk will come into the game with two outs and two runners on to relieve Sanders.

• Diaz continues the Rays’ two-out action, singling to right. 

RUN: Jonathan Aranda singles to left to bring in Junior Caminero. Pirates, 4-2.

RUN: Junior Caminero doubles to left field wall to score Hunter Feduccia from first base. Pirates, 4-1

• Sanders walks the first batter, Feduccia, to start the fifth. 

• Griffin flies out to deep center, gave it a ride at 101.7 mph but still searching for his first home run. Cam Sanders will pitch for the Pirates. 

• Horwitz works a walk after fouling off a few inside pitches. 

• Game resumes with two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning with 0-1 count to Horwitz. Mason Englert will take over for the Rays on the mound. 

• Tonight’s game will resume at approximately 7:05 p.m.

• 6:11 p.m. check-in, rain is coming down hard again. We’ll see if things start drizzling around 7. 

• The wind is so strong, the grounds crew struggled to get the tarp on the field. 

• Rain delay: The rain is pouring and the wind has picked up at 4:39. 

HOME RUN: Marcell Ozuna hits a laser of a two-run home run. Pirates, 4-0

• The skies over PNC Park are getting darker by the minute. The rain appears to be imminent. 

• Skenes strikes out Mullins with a ball up in the zone but couldn’t challenge. Finishes the inning with a line out by Palacios. 

• Fraley challenges the strike three call and loses the last challenge for the Rays. 

• I had to double take when I saw Davis attempting to bunt for a hit. He popped up in front of the pitcher’s mound later in the at-bat. 

• The Rays messed around and might find out as Skenes looks locked in now, striking out two batters in the third frame. 

• Two Flyers fans are at PNC Park and received a round of boos after they were spotted on the jumbotron. 

• Two groundouts by Yorke and Horwitz and Griffin struck out. 

• Skenes escapes the bases loaded jam as he gets Simpson out on groundball to Horwitz. 

• Walls loses challenge on strike three. Two outs.

• Feduccia hits a ground ball to Horwitz on his backhand, he misplays it and has to flip the ball to Griffin for the forceout and allow Fraley to score from third. The umpires ruled runners interference so the batter is out and the runners cannot advance. 

• Palacios lines a single to right field, Fraley is held at third base for bases loaded opportunity for Feduccia. 

• Mullins flied out to O’Hearn but after challenge, Davis is charged with catcher’s interference error as Mullins’ bat hit his glove. 

• Fraley hits a long single to right field that O’Hearn played nicely to keep him at first base. 

• Ozuna pops up to Palacios at second base to end the inning. 

HOME RUN: Ryan O’Hearn launches his fourth HR of the season with two outs and Bryan Reynolds at first. Pirates, 2-0.

• Simpson flied out to Cruz on Skenes’ first pitch, Caminero flared a single to left on a broken bat, Aranda sent one to the warning track for O’Hearn to track down, and Diaz flied out to Cruz. 11-pitch inning for Skenes.
