Logan Paul assaults IShowSpeed at WrestleMania 42

WWE kicked off its WrestleMania 42 premium live event tonight (Sat., April 18, 2026) at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada with, fittingly enough, a celebrity showcase match. IShowSpeed, a hugely popular streamer who travels the world getting himself into all sorts of wacky hijinks, but is also a legitimately impressive athlete in his own right, teamed up with fellow YouTuber turned WWE star Logan Paul — with Austin Theory as well — to take on The Usos & LA Knight.
The match was … well … a match.
They were given very little time, Speed didn’t get the chance to do much of anything, and by the time it was over, Knight was scoring a pinfall victory over Theory without much fanfare. It felt like a pre-show match, which made sense only after they went into the post-match angle.
Paul knocked Speed on his ass with his patented punch.
He yelled at Speed for costing him his WrestleMania moment, kept putting the boots to him, and then set him up on announcer’s table on the outside. Before he could hit the big splash, the babyfaces ran back in to put a stop to it. Then they turned the tables, getting Paul set up on the table so Speed to go up to the top rope to get a big WrestleMania moment of his own.
So he went up there and did it, getting his viral moment.
