Thousands without power Friday morning after isolated storms hit Midstate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Thousands are without power Friday morning as storms rolled through Middle Tennessee Thursday afternoon.
Heavy rain and hail pummeled the Midstate Thursday, with some areas reporting downed power lines.
Nashville Electric Service is reporting the most outages with more than 5,000 customers without power as of 6 a.m. Friday followed by Middle Tennessee Electric reporting just under 1,000 outages.
