Celebrity sightings in the IPL are a common occurrence, with many Bollywood stars making appearances to show support for their teams.
In a heartwarming moment during the IPL 2026 clash between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), fans were treated to a nostalgic ‘Dil Hai Tumhaara’ moment between two beloved stars, Arjun Rampal and Preity Zinta.
The duo, who shared screen space in the 2002 movie Dil Hai Tumhaara, were spotted sitting together in the stands at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium in Chandigarh.
Arjun’s Support for PBKS
Arjun, fresh off his successful role as the menacing ‘Major Iqbal’ in ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, was spotted cheering for Preity Zinta’s PBKS. Dressed in a red polo T-shirt and black trousers, Arjun made sure to show his support for Preity’s team. As the camera panned towards him mid-match, fans erupted into applause, sending social media into a frenzy.
The chemistry between Arjun and Preity, evident in their past collaboration, made this reunion even more special for the fans.
Exciting Times Ahead for Both Stars
While Arjun continues to shine with projects like Dhurandhar 2 and his upcoming web series Billionaire, Preity is preparing for her big-screen comeback in the film Lahore 1947, co-starring Sunny Deol.
The film, produced by Aamir Khan and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, is expected to hit theaters during Independence Day week this year.
As the match unfolded, PBKS batters have set mammoth target of 254 runs for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly made significant contributions with the bat. Later it was Marcus Stoinis who propelled the target in excess of 250 runs for the home team who are yet to face a defeat in the tournament.
The IPL not only serves as a cricketing spectacle but also as a stage for bringing together iconic Bollywood personalities and engaging their ever-loyal fanbases.
