Scarlett Moffatt has revealed that she and partner Scott Dobinson are expecting their second child. She described the news as a “miracle” as she shared the happy announcement with fans.
The former Channel 4 star, who is currently starring on ITV’s all-stars version of I’m A Celebrity, has been candid about her fertility struggles. But now the couple, who already have son Jude, have joyfully announced they are preparing to welcome another baby.
Taking to their social media platforms, Scarlett and Scott were clearly startled with the news as they confirmed that the Gogglebox star was expecting. Fans were quick to rush to the comments to congratulate the happy couple.

“We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this… After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother,” she wrote, according to the Mirror.
“And if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that he is going to be the most amazing big brother. We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock… Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible.”
During her recent jungle appearance, Scarlett revealed how she had suffered a miscarriage while trying for their second child. “We tried for a long time and had some losses, and it’s not nice, is it?
“And because no one talks about it, you think something is wrong with you. You’re like, why is it not happening? It’s a hard one,” she told her campmates about their difficulties.

“After Jude was born, we tried again and got quite far on and miscarried, and I remembered Scott’s mum and dad took Jude for the day, and me and Scott just laid in bed crying. It was awful.
“Because in our head, we were like, ‘oh, like, imagine them running downstairs at Christmas together’. You imagine it. When you lose a baby in that way, you’re sort of mourning a life that you imagined. It’s just really sad. We just have to be so grateful we have got ours.”
Scarlett later confessed that she questioned herself and acknowledged that it made life feel “heavier”.
“When all you want is a family. It’s really hard when that doesn’t just come naturally and easily. You know, you question yourself. You question, why is it not happening? Is it ever going to happen? And it’s just really hard, like it just makes life feel heavier,” she said.

Back in December, Scarlett revealed that she and Scott had a discussion following their miscarriage, where she confessed she “couldn’t handle the heartbreak anymore” and they were going to “stop” any attempts to expand their family.
At the time, she recalled telling Scott: “We’ve got Jude, so let’s enjoy him.” She added: “I just think it’s so brave when people then continue the journey because it is soul-destroying. And I think it’s really strong people who can cope. It was awful on my body, too. So, we made the decision to just enjoy having Jude.”
