The Fashion Trends of Coachella 2026!

if Coachella
2026 showed us anything, it’s that the outfits never disappoint.
Every year, Coachella-goers bring out new and creative fashion
looks. This year, we saw the usual bohemian and western-themed
outfits, two trends that appear in every edition, inspired by the
dusty desert where the festival takes place. We also saw plenty of
low-rise denim, bikini tops, and many new and returning fashion
trends. Here’s a breakdown of the trends that defined Coachella
2026!
Hot
Pants and Micro Shorts
Nothing beats
the desert heat quite like dressing for it. Hot pants and micro
shorts showed up in every fabric imaginable, from denim and leather
to suede and crochet. Often paired with loose tops or a chunky
belt, this style is versatile and allows festival-goers to stay
cool while still wearing an eye-catching outfit.
Crochet and Lace Everything
If you
thought crochet peaked a season or two ago, Coachella 2026 is here
to prove otherwise. Crochet and lace fashion was all the rage this
year, with the handcrafted textures appearing on everything from
tops, ponchos, and skirts to the skullcaps many festival-goers used
to top off their looks. Crochet and lace seem to be becoming a
Coachella staple, and we can expect to see them everywhere through
the Summer.
Fringe… Lots of It
Fringe has
once again made notable appearances at Coachella. Whether in boots,
skirts, tops, ponchos, or hats, we saw fringe all around. This
trend appeared across all kinds of fabrics; some were sequined,
others beaded, some were suede, and others were made of yarn. Many
celebrities, such as Kylie Jenner, Madison
Pettis, and Quenlin Blackwell, showed off
their fringe-adorned looks.
Whimsical
Although Zara Larsson is not in the lineup for this year’s
Coachella, many festival-goers are taking inspiration from her
outfits and creating their own. Bright color combinations, such as
pink and blue, made their appearance in flowy, meshy, and sparkly
fabrics. Whimsical is the best way to describe this trend, with
flowers, crystals, butterflies, and seashells making their
appearance.
Purple Monochrome
After the Justice World Tour was cut short in 2022, fans of Justin Bieber were ecstatic to see him headlining
Coachella. It wouldn’t be Bieberchella without a nod to the
singer’s iconic white and purple outfits of 2010. While the
headliner has amplified his color palette in the past 16 years, OG
fans were still inspired by his roots. Day 2 of Weekend 1 had a sea
of purple, with some fans adding just a simple violet detail while
others put on full monochrome outfits.
We’re excited
to see these textures and patterns being worn this Summer!
