Toronto police say they are investigating after a shooting victim was found inside a North York mall on Tuesday morning.
The shooting, police said, happened near Sheppard Avenue East and Don Mills Road shortly after 10 a.m.
The victim was found inside Fairview Mall, according to investigators.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers.
The current condition of the victim is not known.
