Irish beer lovers have long been following the tradition of “splitting the G” with a Guinness pint. Now, Americans are following in their footsteps.
Busch Light released its long-sought Busch Light Apple, or “bapple,” nationwide on Monday, April 20, and fans can get it at most retailers now while supplies last.
The popular apple-flavored beer first launched in 2020 by Anheuser-Busch has since been a favorite among the Busch beer drinkers.
The beer returned for limited periods in 2021 and 2022, but the company said it didn’t stock the variety in 2023 or 2024. In 2025, 1.2 million cases sold within the first month after its release, and it was named the No. 1 beer of innovation, according to the brewing company Anheuser-Busch’s April 13 press release.
“Last year’s return of Busch Light Apple created a frenzy among fans, and the excitement only kept building when we announced it was coming back again this year,” said Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for Busch Family & Natural Family at Anheuser-Busch. “Our fans made it clear just how much they missed that crisp, refreshing apple flavor, so bringing it back was an easy decision. We’re excited to give them another chance to enjoy the Busch Light Apple they’ve been asking for.”
The return of “Bapple” was announced on April 13. It became available on April 20 in six-packs of 16-ounce cans, as well as 12-, 24- and 30-packs, and 12-ounce and 25-ounce single cans.
As part of the return, the company also is conducting a drawing in which fans Busch Light and Trackhouse Racing have teamed up to give fans the chance to live out their NASCAR fantasy with the ultimate prize — a one-day “contract” with Trackhouse Racing. The prize includes a trip to the Trackhouse Racing shop in Concord, North Carolina, a signing bonus, and more.
