WATCH as banker left ‘traumatised’ after racial abuse on London Underground

A woman was allegedly subjected to racially abusive language during an incident on the London Underground.
Sarika Mishra, a banker from Rochester in Kent, boarded the District Line at Whitechapel shortly before 8pm on Thursday, April 16, and began recording on her phone when she realised the abuse was directed at her.
In the footage, a man can be heard saying: “You fucking Indian, I am Pakistani.”

Ms Mishra said: “Nobody needs to go through this.
“It was not just appalling; it was really traumatic.
“This is when it got my intention and he was looking directly at me saying this.
“I was traumatised and didn’t know how to react.”
The man exited the train at Tower Hill station as the doors closed.
She said: “Everyone seemed disturbed, a father with his child seemed visibly upset.”
The matter has been reported to British Transport Police.
