Essex Police officer pursued relationships while on-duty

A sergeant who pursued relationships while on duty “undermined the trust of the public”, the chief constable of Essex Police has said.
Llewellyn Holmes was caught using police vehicles “inappropriately” and spending time away from his proper place of work to suit his own agenda.
He was found to have committed gross misconduct, and would have been sacked by the force had he not already resigned.
Chief Constable Ben-Julian Harrington said he was committed to maintaining the highest standards among his officers.
