Church conversion for dilapidated warehouse approved

The two-storey property is in the heart of Eyemouth within its conservation area and is next to a listed building, although it is not listed itself.
Planning committee members carried out a site visit before deciding whether or not to approve the plans.
They concluded that the property was an “eyesore” and that bringing it back into use would benefit the town.
A planning report for councillors also said there were no material considerations on which to base a refusal and the committee approved the plans.
