Here’s what to know about the 31-time “Jeopardy!” champion.

Jamie Ding competed against contestants Zach Pollock, a retired logistics executive from Media, Pennsylvania, and Nicco Martinez, an accountant originally from Columbus, Ohio.

Ding was on fire in Friday’s episode, with correct responses on two Daily Doubles, and two to three correct answers across each of 12 categories, according to The Jeopardy! Fan website.

Despite an incorrect response on Final Jeopardy, Ding bet cautiously, securing his 31st straight “Jeopardy!” win.

Only Pollock answered correctly, “What is Bloomsday?” to the Final Jeopardy prompt, “In 1954, on the 50th anniversary of this day, a group went to a Martello tower before going on a bender.”

While Ding answered, “What is the day of the locust?,” he bet only $198, leaving him the winner at $33,002. Pollock gained $1,000, ending second at $7,600. Martinez didn’t answer and bet nothing on Final Jeopardy, leaving him at $400.
