Meet Germie Bernard, Steelers’ draft pick after trade with fun name

The Pittsburgh Steelers wanted an offensive weapon.
They traded up in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft to get one in the form of wide receiver Germie Bernard out of Alabama.
They needed to deal the 53rd pick and some other assets to get up to the 47th spot and make sure they didn’t miss Bernard.
Steelers trading up to 47, also receiving 249 from the Colts for picks 53, 135, and 237.
