Vieira and McConico are both coming off of knockout losses to elite up-and-coming fighters, as Vieira lost to Bo Nickal and McConico lost to Baisangur Susurkaev.

McConico’s last win came by split decision against Cody Brundage in August 2025. Before losing to Nickal, Vieira beat Tresean Gore by unanimous decision. Even though McConico has a four-inch height advantage, the stats favor Vieira in this contest. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Vieira is a -290 favorite with McConico being the +235 underdog in this contest.
They are both coming off knockout losses, but Vieira is still the higher-level fighter. Vieira averages nearly one more significant strike per minute while being 10 percent more accurate. That is, while landing 2.70 takedowns per 15 minutes, as McConico has zero. 10 of Vieira’s 11 career MMA wins have come by submission or knockout. All four of McConico’s losses have been by finish. Vieira should be able to use his wealth of UFC experience to his benefit in this contest.
