BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WSBT) — Nine people are in the hospital after an early morning shooting in Bloomington.
Police say they heard gunshots while monitoring a large crowd shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Kirkwood Avenue, just west of IU Bloomington’s campus.
It is not clear how many of the nine people hospitalized were directly shot or were injured due to bullet fragments.
Police do not have a suspect in custody at this time.
