MARQUEZ: ‘GRESINI ALWAYS BELIEVED IN ME’
Alex Marquez secured his second victory in Jerez, a year after his first win in the premier class, with a dominant performance in the Grand Prix today.
Marquez said: “Not many words to describe at this moment. I mean, we studied a lot at the beginning of the year.
“But you know, this weekend looks like with a good rest in the break that we had for the last few weeks, and we arrived here 100% motivated, with a really good feeling, with a weird, really good flow.
“And today, for me, was clear. I mean, go from the first lap, pushing, trying to take the lead, and from the moment I put my rhythm, I know that the rhythm was really good until the end.
“So thanks to the team, because they never stopped working. They always believed in me. And also to the to all the grandstands, to all the fans, the Spanish fans that are here are amazing.”
