We’ve been here before.
Arsenal and Lyon met in the Champions League semi-finals last season, with the Gunners progressing to the final 5-3 on aggregate despite being underdogs.
The Gunners suffered a 2-1 defeat at home in the first leg, and few gave them a chance of turning things around in France.
But goals from Mariona Caldentey, Alessia Russo and Caitlin Foord put Arsenal 4-0 up with 20 minutes still to play, before Melchie Dumornay scored a late consolation.
Arsenal fans are hoping for a better first leg result today, but will head across the English Channel with confidence regardless.
