Gordon Ramsay’s youngest daughter, Tilly, has made him a “proud dad” with her latest milestone that quite literally follows in his footsteps. The celebrity chef’s 24-year-old daughter, Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay, is joining the thousands of runners for the London Marathon on Sunday – and her famous dad is cheering her on from the sidelines.
Gordon, who has completed multiple marathons over the years, including the London Marathon, stood with his arm affectionately around his daughter in a side hug in photos posted on the morning of the marathon. “Such a proud dad today watching my little girl @tillyramsay run her first ever marathon !!!!” the celebrity chef gushed on social media.
Tilly was geared up for the race in her athleisure wear and bib number with her name printed on a shirt. “Thx to @flora and everyone who supported @feeding_britain on her incredible journey. Go get em kiddo !!” Gordon celebrated his daughter’s effort.

Halfway through the marathon, Tilly rushed over to the sidelines to see her parents who were cheering her on from the barricade. Tilly sweetly gave her dad a quick hug in a video posted to Gordon’s Instagram Story. The 24-year-old then continued on with her run as Gordon clapped enthusiastically.
“Let’s go @tillyramsay !!!” the chef captioned the sweet clip which showed his wife Tana Ramsay looking emotional towards the end.

Gordon’s marathon achievements
While Tilly is just starting her marathon journey, Gordon is a seasoned professional with over 20 marathons under his belt. The chef previously ran the London Marathon in 2004 in an impressive time of 3:30:37.

“Wishing this incredible young lady all the very best for tomorrow as you attempt your first ever London Marathon,” Gordon said, sending luck to Tilly the night before her first marathon. “Love you so much, Dad [red heart emoji].”
“Can’t wait to see you out there! Good luck to everyone running and a big thank you to all the volunteers, you are all amazing,” he added.

Tilly’s bond with her dad
Along with running, Tilly shares a passion for food and cooking with her dad. The 24-year-old has followed in her father’s culinary footsteps with her own CBBC cooking show, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, and her 2025 series called Dish It Out on Amazon Prime Video.
When asked by HELLO! what she’s learned from her father in an exclusive 2025 interview, Tilly replied: “One big thing for me is passion. I see how much he cares about every little detail with food. Flavour is super-important, but the way you present it and make it your own – everyone can do a spaghetti carbonara, but how do you adapt it to make it yours?”
“He’s great at advice. I always know that if I need anything, I can call him and Mum, because Mum is also very good in the kitchen. They love it now, because it’s like: ‘Tell us what’s for dinner tonight.’ And I say: ‘Okay, cool.'”
