WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah (KUTV) — A West Bountiful neighborhood was forced to evacuate as officials removed explosives found nearby.
The mandatory evacuation order was issued for the area within 2,000 feet near 1100 West and 1400 North.

Officials estimated the evacuation order to remain in place for about three hours. Residents were advised to bring medications and “other immediate necessities,” but do not need to remove any other belongings, according to West Bountiful City officials.
Residents can take shelter at 1930 North 600 West in West Bountiful, next to the city park.
Details about the explosives were not made immediately available.
