Edmonton police warn of harassment on U of A campus

Edmonton police (EPS) are warning about a man with a history of harassment at the University of Alberta (U of A) campus.
EPS said 33-year-old Muhammad Ahmed who had been previously arrested and charged with mischief was recently involved in harassment-related incidents at the campus.
Ahmed had allegedly engaged in “unwanted interactions with females that have escalated to harassment and, at times, threatening or aggressive conduct” twice last month.
Police say he was released under conditions, including that he stay away from the U of A campus.
According to EPS, Ahmed has a history of similar interactions in other places in Edmonton and other Canadian cities.
