SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Severe storms on Sunday dumped heavy hail on several communities in the Ozarks.
KY3 viewers shared the largest hailstones from an area near Lockwood to El Dorado Springs to the Pomme de Terre Lake. Many viewers shared images of baseball-sized hail. Emergency managers reported that the large hail damaged the windows of homes and cars.
The storms also led to several tornado warnings. Communities in Benton and Polk County reported power outages.
