2025 season series: Tied 3-3, with Angels winning 2-1 in Chicago March 27-29
The Angels are coming off a 3-game sweep at the hands of the Kansas City Royals over the weekend, including an excruciating loss Sunday. L.A. led 6-0 head into the bottom of the fifth inning, but the Royals rallied to force extra innings, eventually winning 11-9 in 10 innings as light favorites (-112) as the Over (8.5) easily cashed. CF Lane Thomas went 3 for 6 with a homer and 3 RBIs, while SS Bobby Witt Jr. launched his first triple and his first homer of the season, finishing 2 for 5 with 2 RBIs. LF Isaac Collins also swatted a homer, driving in 2 runs.
The Angels have lost 3 in a row, and 7 of the past 8 games, while the Over has cashed in 4 in a row.
The White Sox (-120) lost 2-1 at home in 10 innings as the Under (7.5) cashed against the Washington Nationals Sunday, losing the series after winning the opener Friday. CF Tristan Peters came on late, and he drove in the only Sox run in the 10th inning after the Nationals had scored 2 in the top of the 10th.
The White Sox are still a respectable 5-4 in the past 9 games despite dropping the final 2 games against the Nats. The Under is 3-1 in the past 4 games, but the Over is 6-3 across the previous 9 contests.

Angels at White Sox picks and predictions
Prediction
Angels 6, White Sox 4
The ANGELS (-125) are a strong play behind Kochanowicz in Monday’s series opener. While he hasn’t been as good on the road as he has been at home, he still has turned a corner toward being one of the better hurlers in the Halos’ rotation.
The White Sox have been decent lately, but Kay was a disaster last time out. The play here is to take the better pitcher, and that’s actually Kochanowicz at this point.
The ANGELS -1.5 (+135) are worth playing lightly, but go with a half-unit at best. The Halos are coming off a disappointing collapse Sunday, and they’re just 1-7 in the past 8 games, so there is a lot of risk here. Still, they’re 3-1 on the run line in the past 4 starts with Kochanowicz on the bump.
OVER 9.5 (-105) is also worth playing, but very lightly with a half-unit play.
The Over is 4-0 in the past 4 games, with the Angels averaging 5.0 runs per game in the span, while allowing 8.0 RPG.
For the White Sox, the Over is 6-3 in the past 9 games, with a 4-3 edge in the past 7 home contests.
