Cooler with showers on Tuesday in the Baltimore region

Cooler and slightly active pattern sets up for Baltimore area

EVERYBODY. IT IS 516 AND WE’RE LOOKING LIVE FROM THE INNER HARBOR TO START OUT WITH. TEMPERATURES ARE PRETTY MILD TEMPERATURES FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. OVERALL, THOUGH, THE WEATHER PATTERN IS LOOKING A LITTLE ACTIVE THOUGH AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS WELL, INCLUDING TOMORROW, WHICH IS AN IMPACT WEATHER DAY FOR THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND MAYBE EVEN SOME THUNDERSTORMS THAT COULD BE ON THE STRONG, IF NOT SEVERE SIDE. NOT A MAJOR RISK, BUT SOMETHING THAT WE’LL HAVE TO MONITOR CLOSELY ON RADAR AS THOSE STORMS DEVELOP. SO AGAIN, JUST A REMINDER BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES CONTINUING A FEW CHANCES FOR RAIN TODAY, TOMORROW, AND POTENTIALLY LATE THIS WEEK INTO THE UPCOMING WEEKEND, BUT ALSO GOING TO BE A LOT COOLER WITH THAT NEXT SYSTEM COMING THROUGH. SO THE LATEST ON OUR SATELLITE AND RADAR SHOWING YOU INCREASING CLOUDS RIGHT NOW, THAT’S KIND OF HOLDING OUR TEMPERATURES FROM DROPPING TOO FAR, WELL INTO THE 40S. THERE ARE SOME SPOTS, THOUGH, WITH THE CLEARING THAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT, OF COURSE, IN THE EASTERN SHORE THERE ARE A LOT COOLER THERE WITH TEMPERATURES HAVE ALREADY SLIPPED DOWN INTO THE 30S, BUT THE RAIN THAT WE’RE WATCHING NOW, THAT IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO FILL IN ACROSS THE REGION, BUT AT A MUCH LIGHTER STATE ONCE IT GETS HERE CLOSER TO US. SO A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR A PASSING SUNRISE THIS MORNING INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON. AND YOU CAN KIND OF SEE THAT HERE. DETAILED PRETTY WELL ON OUR FUTURECAST. LATE MORNING SHOWERS INTO MIDDAY. THOSE KIND OF TAPER OFF THOUGH BY THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. SOME OF THE CLOUDS BREAKING UP AS WELL. SO WE MIGHT EVEN SEE A LITTLE BIT OF CLEARING HAPPENING, BUT REALLY NOT A WHOLE LOT EXPECTED OVERALL. WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT TOMORROW MORNING. ALSO STARTING OUT WITH A MAINLY CLOUDY SKY, OUR NEXT STRONGER STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING IN MORE WIDESPREAD RAIN TO THE AREA. SO THAT COULD CERTAINLY BE IMPACTFUL FOR ANYONE DRIVING OR DOING ANYTHING OUTDOORS, TRAVELING, THINGS LIKE THAT. BUT I THINK WE COULD HAVE A FEW THUNDERSTORMS PASS ON THROUGH. 1 OR 2 OF THOSE MAY BE ON THE STRONG TO SEVERE SIDE AND CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. SO THE SEVERE RISK FOR WEDNESDAY, IT’S ISOLATED, AS YOU NOTICE HERE, FOR MOST OF US IN OUR STATE, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THAT VERY EXTREME NORTHEAST CORNER OF IT, UNDER MORE OF A GENERAL GARDEN VARIETY THUNDERSTORM, NOT NECESSARILY SEVERE THREAT, BUT HERE LEVEL ONE OUT OF FIVE EXPECTED FOR TOMORROW. TODAY, FEW SPRINKLES, FEW LIGHT SHOWERS POSSIBLE WITH A HIGH OF ABOUT 61 DEGREES. AND THEN AS WE GET THROUGH TONIGHT, WE’LL FALL BACK INTO THE MOST PART, UNDER A PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKY. SO MILD OR COOL IF YOU WILL, GETS CHILLIER THOUGH LATE THIS WEEK INTO THE UPCOMING WEEKEND, WITH TEMPERATURES DROPPING INTO THE 40S EACH MORNING. FRIDAY, SATURDAY SUNDAY MORNING COULD BE SOME CHILLY STARTS AND POTENTIALLY SOME FROST THAT WILL BE IN PATCHES. BUT NEXT OPPORTUNITY AFTER WEDNESDAY FOR RAIN ARRIVES BETWEEN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. HOWEVER, WE DO HAVE THA
