American Hailey Baptiste Upsets No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka at Madrid Open Ahead of Roland-Garros

Hailey Baptiste, one of the rising stars in women’s tennis, picked up the biggest win of her career on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old American downed world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka 2-6 6-2 7-6 (6) at the Madrid Open, moving on to the semifinals, where she’ll face Mirra Andreeva.
