TOWIE star Bobby Norris has revealed he was told he could be dead in hours as he battled a health issue.
The reality star, 39, was unwell last year and as doctors tried to establish what was wrong, it looked as if it could be something serious.
Opening up on ITV’s This Morning as he discussed why he had his latest round of plastic surgery, which included a facelift, Bobby said: “I’d had health problems last year. Another story for another time.
“But the doctor was quite honest. I mean, I was having so many tests done. I mean, there’s more of my blood in fridges around Essex than Mounjaro, and that’s saying something. And the lovely doctor said at one point, ‘We’ve got a specialist here. And if it’s something he thinks it is, you could be dead in 12 hours.’
“And in your head, you think and this sounds really crazy to say, but I thought, ‘Well, I can’t die. I’m going to Sheesh tonight.’ Because at my age, you don’t expect to hear that. And then I kind of thought, ‘Well, we all have these age things in our heads.’ I thought, ‘Well, why am I waiting for my 40s to correct something?'”

Presenter Ben Shephard interrupted to ask: “I’m really confused, so you had a condition whereby the doctor had said…”
“Well, there was process of elimination working out, my heart’s been photographed more than Kim Kardashian, do you know what I mean?” said Bobby.
“Trying to work it out. And some of the tests had come back, and they were like, ‘There’s a chance it could be this.’ And when you lay there and you think that and I knew I’d always do my face in my 40s … and I thought, ‘Well, I’m waiting for my 40s for that but tomorrow isn’t guaranteed’.”
“Do what makes you feel better,” he said.
Bobby told Ben and co-host Cat Deeley that his latest series of procedures included a facelift, a neck lift and surgery to remove the bags under the eyes.
He shared: “I feel so good. I mean, I’m still a little bit swollen. The thing with the face, I mean, everyone heals different, etc. But I think they say nine to 12 months to really settle in. So I’ve still got some swelling, but I feel good.
“It’s not my first rodeo with surgery.”

The TV star also said he liked to be honest about whatever work he has done.
“Surgery does come with its dangers,” he said. “But I think a lot of people, and no tea, no shade, but aren’t open about it.
“And I just don’t believe in lying to people that have followed me and watched me for 15 years because it’s just not achievable through honey and oatmeal scrubs, do you know what I mean?”
This Morning airs on ITV from 10am on weekdays.
