First Alert Weather Days: Another round of possible strong to severe thunderstorms

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Storms threaten to bring damaging wind, torrential downpours, and hail. Isolated tornadoes are also possible.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 1AM across most of Middle Tennessee.
A Tornado Watch has been issued for a few counties in Middle Tennessee and all of West Tennessee.
The next round of strong to severe storms moves in this evening and overnight. Timing of storms will be between now and 11pm.
MAIN STORM THREATS: HEAVY RAIN, DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED TORNADOES.

Thousands of customers were without power after storms hit Middle Tennessee overnight Monday. Some schools opened on a delay.
Lawrence County leaders said they were investigating “two separate wind events,” and another was also reported near Goodlettsville.
