Kidman’s daughter’s telling move after split

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s eldest daughter has made a move that perfectly sums up her new relationship with her musician dad. Hint: it doesn’t look great.
Seven months after announcing their sad split, the star couple’s daughter, who lives with her Aussie actress mum, has publicly unfollowed her dad on Instagram.
Sunday Rose, 17, followed her mother’s footsteps in the unfollowing, though it appears as though Urban still follows her.
It comes as reports claimed the country crooner’s relationship with his daughters – including youngest Faith Margaret, 15 – has been strained since the couple decided to go their separate ways.
What’s more, it is believed Sunday refuses to meet Urban’s alleged new girlfriend, putting a further strain on their relationship.
Since their June 2006 wedding at St Patrick’s Estate in the northern Sydney suburb of Manly, Kidman and Urban, both 58, have shared a deeply affectionate and highly public partnership.
In late September 2025, they shocked fans around the world announcing that they were splitting after 19 years of alleged wedded bliss.
TMZ reported at the time that the pair had been living apart for several months.
“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told Page Six, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”
The pair reached a settlement agreement in early 2026, which included a division of assets and custody arrangements for their two daughters.
In legal documents filed in Nashville, Tennessee, both stars agreed to waive all alimony and spousal support. They also agreed to be responsible for their own legal fees and expenses and would pay zero dollars in child support for Sunday and Faith.
It was also highlighted that both girls would be living with their mother for 306 days of the year, with their singer dad given 59 days or “every other weekend” with the girls.
It’s unclear whether the girls have seen their father at all since then, instead firmly sticking by their mother’s side at a handful of red carpet events.
According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Urban “turned into a different person” since the pair announced their shock split.
“Nicole and Keith don’t really communicate,” the source said. “Things got really bad at the end of their relationship and haven’t rebounded.
“Keith seems to really want to live the single life, almost like a midlife crisis since the split. He’s turned into a totally different person. It’s like she doesn’t know him at all anymore.”
