Plymouth building site cordoned off over ordnance fear

Police have cordoned off a building site after a report of suspected ordnance in the area.
The Devon and Cornwall force said a 100m (328ft) cordon was in at Flamborough Road, Southway, in Plymouth.
A number of roads in the area have been closed and a Royal Navy explosives ordnance team was attending to “assess the item”, said officers.
“We ask people to please avoid the area at this time,” said a spokesperson.
