Islanders’ Sorokin, Bruins’ Swayman, Lightning’s Vasilevskiy up for Vezina Trophy

The Vezina Trophy is leaving Winnipeg.
Of the three, only Vasilevskiy has taken home the title of top goalie in the past, having won the award in 2019.
The 31-year-old appeared in 58 games for the Lightning this season, placing third in the NHL with a .912 save percentage and second with a 2.31 goals-against average.
He also posted two shutouts and had 39 wins, tied for the second-most of his career.
Sorokin, 30, registered a .906 save percentage and 2.68 GAA over 55 games with the Islanders, who missed the playoffs.
Swayman, 27, enjoyed a bounceback season with the Bruins, recording a .908 save percentage and 2.69 GAA as he led Boston back into the post-season, where it currently trails the Buffalo Sabres 3-2 in their first-round series.
The Vezina Trophy is voted on by general managers.
