RR vs DC, IPL 2026: New Zealand and Delhi Capitals seamer Kyle Jamieson drew eyebrows for his in-your-face celebration after dismissing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi cheaply in the IPL 2026 game on Friday at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. With Jamieson celebrating on Sooryavanshi’s face after getting the batting prodigy’s wicket only in the first over, the Kiwi cricketer could not contain his emotions but the netizens weren’t impressed with it.

The 15-year-old has been terrorising even the best of the bowlers in IPL 2026, notably taking the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood to the cleaners. Despite scoring only five runs on the night, the southpaw has over 400 runs this season, including a ton, and is among the top run-getters of the edition. The dismissal occurred only in the second over of the innings as Jamieson went for a boundary off the first delivery. With the yorker going through Sooryavanshi’s defences, the towering seamer took a leap and celebrated the youngster’s wicket with gumption. Sooryavanshi followed Yashasvi Jaiswal to the pavilion as Mitchell Starc got the better of the latter for six.

As for their position in the points table, the Royals are currently 4th in the standings, registering six wins in nine games with 12 points.
