Observations From Day 1 of Titans Rookie Minicamp on Friday

-Safety Myles Purchase, a tryout player from Iowa State, picked off a pass in a 7-on-7 drill.

-Delaware safety Mysonne Pollard, a tryout player from Delaware, also had an interception.

-Assistant Head Coach/special teams coordinator John Fassell looked like he was having a ball out there on Friday. Fassell designed one drill that had players on the move, forcing them to show off their agility.

-Cornerback Latrell McCutchin Sr., an undrafted free agent from Houston, had a nice PBU during a 7-on-7 drill.

-I noticed Illinois receiver Hank Beatty, one of the team’s undrafted free agents, making a lot of catches on Friday.

-Receiver Jayden Ballard, a tryout player from Wisconsin, scored a touchdown by catching a deep ball.

-I couldn’t help by notice Colin Weber, the tryout player from Wisconsin. At 6-foot-4, 258 pounds, he’s one of the biggest tight end I’ve seen out on these practice fields.

-Tate, decked out in No. 14, sure looks the part, even though we didn’t see him much.
