Passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 81. Raised in Creighton, he was the son of the late Anne and Edward Willgos. Beloved husband and best friend of Judy (Homsey). Devoted father of Betsy Mitchell and David Willgos (Jenny). Loving grandfather of Savannah Mitchell (Alhamd) and Owen and Brooke Willgos. Brother of Vivian Maloney (Jimmy) and the late Tom Willgos (Heather). He will be missed by his loved ones and extended family.
An electrician, Bob retired from INCO (Vale) in 2003. As a young man, Bob developed a love for sports, playing hockey and badminton. His competitive spirit carried over into his hobbies—hunting, fishing, playing cards, and golfing, which he especially enjoyed with his many cherished friends. Above all, he was a proud grandfather, and his grandchildren meant the world to him.
All who knew him understood that his happy place was camp at Lake Fairbank—sitting on the dock, listening to the loons in the bay, or trolling for the next big catch with Judy.
