Just after the end of the power play, Noor Ahmed could have delivered a special over with a double blow to the Mumbai Indians had it not been for Shivam Dube dropping one of the most simple catches of this year’s TATA IPL 2026.
Naman Dhir looked to cut the first ball from the Afghan spinner, and the ball came off quite late off the surface, which took the batter’s outside edge and flew back to the fielder positioned at short third man. However, Dube drops one of the easiest catches in the context of any game.
