SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Springfield trucking magnates Robert and Lawana Low will try again at another Run for the Roses.
The Lows own Prime Inc. They also own Renegade, one of the favorites in the 126th Kentucky Derby. Post time for the race is Saturday at 5:57 p.m. on KY3. Coverage begins at 1:30 p.m.
Regegade, the 5-1 betting favorite on Friday, was born and raised on the Lows Springfield-area farm called Primatara Farm. Todd Pletcher trains the Arkansas Derby winner. Unfortunately, it drew the No. 1 post position. The No. 1 position on the rail has not won the Kentucky Derby since Ferdinand in 1986.
The Lows also owned Kentucky Derby contenders Magnum Moon in 2018 and Steppenwolfer in 2006.
