Lamont Roach vs William Zepeda Targeted for PBC Summer Card

Before that, PBC will use its current Las Vegas event to keep momentum going, sending David Benavidez into a cruiserweight title fight against unified champion Gilberto Ramirez at T-Mobile Arena, while also staging a press conference featuring Spence and Tszyu.
Another card is being targeted for early summer, possibly June, with Lamont Roach Jr. in line to face William Zepeda in a fight that would place the winner in position for the WBC’s vacant lightweight title. Roach enters off back-to-back draws against Gervonta Davis and Isaac Cruz, while Zepeda is coming off the first loss of his career against Shakur Stevenson.
PBC is also working toward a return for Gervonta Davis in the early fall, though timing remains tied to his ongoing legal situation. His last outing was a draw against Roach in Brooklyn, a fight that included a disputed non-call on a knockdown.
Opponents for Davis are still being discussed. While Floyd Schofield has been mentioned as an option, internal expectation currently points toward a rematch with Isaac Cruz, who previously went the distance with Davis in 2021.
The schedule is not finalized, but PBC’s direction is clear: reintroduce Spence, keep Benavidez active at a higher weight, and position the lightweight division for a new titleholder while setting up Davis’ next move.
