New commissions for ITV’s star-studded weekend mornings announced

ITV has today announced a raft of new commissions for its bumper weekend mornings line up including a brand new show, Clodagh: Cooking At Home, alongside new Gary Barlow’s Food and Wine Tour: New Zealand, the return of Fern Britton: Inside The Vet’s and a third series of Ainsley’s Fantastic Flavours for 2026. 

Commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe and Leanne Clarke, the 2026 schedule will build on ITV’s popular weekend offerings.

In the brand-new series Clodagh: Cooking At Home, it’s all about inspirational and easy eats as viewers are invited into the cheerful chef’s idyllic home on her farm Broadspear. Set against the backdrop of her kitchen and vibrant garden, Clodagh will share the good times and slices of life at home, from parties to casual weekends, with a collection of simple and delicious recipes. Whether you’re looking for everyday inspiration or the secrets to effortless and elegant entertaining, each episode will be packed with tips and tricks in Clodagh’s signature style, designed to bring joy to every table.

In a third series of Ainsley’s Fantastic Flavours – that saw a 7% increase in volume for its second series launchAinsley Harriott will share a feast of flavours that are sure to stir the imaginations of those watching. The popular chef will be joined by a host of special guests and familiar faces in the kitchen, to celebrate global cuisines that take their taste buds on a trip around the world. 

Animal lover Fern Britton also returns for a second heart-warming series of Fern Britton: Inside The Vet’s and goes behind the scenes at The Grove Vets, a family-run practice with a big heart, to meet the dedicated veterinarians and share the emotional stories of the devoted owners of the hundreds of pets being treated there each week.

It has also been confirmed that after nearly five million viewers joined him to explore the impressive food and wine of South Africa and Australia, Gary Barlow is now set for a third adventure in the highly-anticipated new series of Gary Barlow’s Food and Wine Tour: New Zealand this year. 

For the first time, Gary will be accompanied by his friend, comedian, singer, presenter and actor Jason Manford as the pair’s thirst for life takes them on an unforgettable trip across this epic country. 

Starting this weekend, viewers can join Dermot O’Leary as he traverses two of the island of Ireland’s most iconic coastal touring routes – the Causeway Coastal Route and Wild Atlantic Way – in the second series of Dermot’s Taste of Ireland. The 10-part series follows Dermot as he explores his passion for Ireland, its people and cuisine, reminiscing about his childhood memories and tasting plenty of what is on offer to visitors. 

In Josie’s Taste of the Westcountry, proud Bristolian Josie Gibson takes us on a tour of her beloved Westcountry. This is a journey of celebration; discovering dinner delights, freshly caught lunches, the best of passionate artisan makers and growers as well as a few hidden gems to surprise us all… And who better to join her culinary adventure than local food champion and Michelin-starred chef Paul Ainsworth.

Clodagh: Cooking at Home is a 6 x 30′ Pacific Productions production for ITV, funded by cruise line Oceania Cruises. The Executive Producers are Rachel Purnell and Olivia Ball and the Series Producer is Jayne Hibbitt Smith. 

Gary Barlow’s Food and Wine Tour: New Zealand, in association with Tourism New Zealand and Great Rail Journeys, is a 6 x 30’ Rock Oyster Media production for ITV. The Executive Producers are Charlotte Davis and David Nottage.

Ainsley’s Fantastic Flavours is a 12 x 60’ Rock Oyster Media production for ITV. The Executive Producers are Charlotte Davis and David Nottage. 

Fern Britton: Inside The Vet’s is a 6 x 60’ Love Monday production, with Petplan, for ITV. The Executive Producers are Naveed Chowdhary-Flatt and Kerene Barefield. 

Dermot’s Taste of Ireland is a 10 x 30′ co-production by Rock Oyster Media and Tourism Ireland for ITV. The Executive Producers are Charlotte Davis and David Nottage. 

Josie’s Taste of the Westcountry, in association with Rodda’s, is a 5 x 60′ Rock Oyster Media production for ITV. The Executive Producers are Charlotte Davis and David Nottage.
